Japan has had Taoism and Bhuddism in it's culture for awhile. Taoism is a religion based on spirits in the elements of nature such as water, fire, wind, lightning, and even metal. Bhuddism is a religion based on the Bhudda(Of course.), and they have many different gods, but their main god they think about is the  Bhudda. While both of these religions are large, Bhuddism is more on Japan's population than Taoism.
